Oh, the irony!

The other night, I let Drew go to sleep in my bed. I checked on him after about twenty minutes and found him sound asleep with the pages of my library book strewn about him. He had ripped the cover off and a bunch of pages. Now I have to go and admit my kid ripped up a book called The Explosive Child. A friend suggested I return the book to the library and say, "Um, this book didn't work." lol!

I read this aloud to some people at work (preschool). We all agreed it was the best story we've heard in a long time. Thanks for the smile--sorry about the book. =)

lmao....that is too stinking funny. Though it may not be when you get to the library.

My fx'er tore up a library book one time. I took it to the library with money in hand to replace it and they told me not to worry about it. I was being honest and they know stuff happens.

So maybe your library will be as generous.

I ordered a replacement book from Amazon Marketplace. I'll bring it to the library along with my story.
