Eric and I are off work today for Good Friday. Blake slept in until 7:45 this morning, and Drew is still sleeping! Unheard of in the Meyer house. I got up with Blaker and Eric is still in bed.

Drew and Blake are constantly pushing the buttons on the DVD player. They broke the old one we had, and now our current one is broken. Now the player doesn't recognize when the drawer thingy is open or closed and it doesn't always play.

This is the tv stand we have in g our living room:

We have been looking for something similar for the toyroom to keep the kids' hands off the DVD player. We looked and looked, but had a hard time finding anything with doors that had handles for using a child lock on them. Practically all the TV stands out now have open shelving. Or are too wide for our small space.

But, I came across a solution the other day on Ikea.com


We'll put our old one in the toyroom and put the new on in our living room. Aaaand, the new one has a key lock! Perfect.
