Drew asked for waffles this morning. We were out, but I told him I'd get some and he could have some for a snack after school. Of course I forgot. But Drew didn't forget. As soon as he got in the house, he asked for his waffles. I admitted I had forgotten them, but offered to make some. He thought that would work and I remembered the circus waffle iron I got for Christmas a year or two ago.
I looked up a recipe online and whipped these up in minutes. Drew doesn't always eat my homemade waffles, but he's happily scarfing them down now! And they are cute! I will definitely be using this recipe and waffle iron again soon!
