Tonight, my mom and dad came over. We were sitting on the patio and Blake ran in the house for a second. He came back out with a baby doll and his Elmo doll. He sat them in the chair and knelt in front of them. He said, "Ready, sing! Row, Row, row, boat, genty down seeem! Meh, Meh, meh, meh, life but deam!" This was a re-enactment of an episode of Oobi where Oobi and Kako go to the community center and take music lessons from Maistru. Ray and Mimi, two crazy hand puppets and half-hearted singers at best sing along to Row, Row, Row Your Boat in rounds until Oobi and Kako mess things up by singing "Yo toe hoe" when it is their turn. Hilarity ensues. At least my kids think so. I have probably seen this episode 600 times. We dubbed it to DVD and they are on an Oobi kick.
Drew went through an Oobi phase when he was about three through four. He would hold his hands up and pretend they were Oobi, Kako or Grandpu. He used to pretend the base of our table was a slide, and Oobi went down it, saying, "Whee!"
