#1 is being with his daddy
and
#2 is being outside.
What could be better than being with Daddy outside? Even if Daddy is just cleaning out the car. Blake certainly doesn't mind. In fact, he is quite interested. 
When he saw that Eric was outside, he got himself dressed and put his sandals on (the wrong feet, of course)by himself and went out.
