Reading Progress

Drew has spelling words we have to practice every night. They come home on a nice little ring. He has to read the word on one side of the card, and read the sentence on the back side of the card. I love that he can read! I usually sit in the beanbag chair next to him and he will glance up from playing with his drumsticks or whatever and mumble the word. It is a little time comsuming to get it done, but he can do it. He can read the sentences, too!

Here they are:

I can't find my pencil.
He ate his snack.
He said I was funny.
My little sister is cute.
Can I play with you? (the bolded word is his actual spelling word)

And Blake has word flash cards to practice. He knows all the words on the stack except he messes up "see" from time to time.
I am so proud of my boys!
