I am always trying to get Blake to tell me he loves me. I say "I love you" in a sing-songy way and he will usually repeat it back to me. He has never said it spontaneously.
At 3:30 this morning, Blake started yelling, "Mommy! Mom-my!" so I went to see what was wrong. He had wet the bed. I was not thrilled, and said, "Ahh, Blake. You peed the bed. Here, change your pants." and handed him a new Pull Up. Then I pulled off the wet sheets and huffed and puffed as I put the new ones on. He was watching me and said, "I love you!" It was so sweet! Like he wanted me to know he appreciated me changing his sheets in the middle of the night. I told him I loved him too, and went back to bed. I woke Eric up to tell him.
PS-I got that school job! I am now a lunch lady. :)

Wow! Thats awesome about the job and about Blake saying he loves you. Its funny how we know it but it doesn't count until we hear it :)
