So, we've been having some issues with Drew's behavior. He's been getting card changes at school left and right, and honestly, his behavior at home has been really oppositional as well.
We went to the doctor yesterday and he changed his medicine from Methylin (Ritalin) to Vyvanse. Dr. Berry-Kravis says that Vyvanse has been successful with Fragile X patients. It is an extended-release medicine, so hopefully it will keep Drew on a more even keel throughout the day.
We have an appointment for both boys to see Dr. Berry-Kravis in July. That's the soonest they could get us in!
Anyway, if you could spare a prayer for Drew as he adjusts to his new medicine, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Matty never did so hot on Ritalin either. I don't know many fraggles that do. Keep us updated on the Vyvanse. Adjusting to meds is never fun so u r definitely in my prayers
